Who do you think is the better team from now and going foward? My friend " wjo is a nets fan" says they are better than the wArriors just cause they had a better record then them. What does everyone think?

I take the Warriors and I don't think it is close.
I think the Nets played to their abilities, maybe even over and didn't look like a contender.
The Warriors were missing a key player and could have been moving on still if Curry hadn't gotten injured.
Also, age is on the Warriors side: their stars are young and still getting better where I don't feel the same is true for the Nets.

I would say the Nets especially if they hired a better coach. Deron Williams did not start playing like Deron Williams until after the break and if they get a better coach who have them playing a more uptempo style they would be a 50+ win team next year.

As for the Warriors it is possible that they lose Landry & Jack in the offseason and they played like shit in the last few months of the season until the playoffs.

If they lose both Jack and Landry, I'm not sure they even make the playoffs next year

Yeah but i'm saying if they still have 1 of them. You also gotta factor in a healthy Bogut, Growth of Barnes, Curry and Thompson too. Honestly i like our starters over there's.

Williams is a better PG.

His post AS game numbers were great as he avg 22 and 8 on 48% shooting which is more like Deron but I think when Deron plays like he did in the 2nd half of the season those 2 are equal.

I would take Joe Johnson any day of the week over Thompson.

Humphries doesn't start but Lee is better than the Nets PF but the Nets bench especially if Jack/Landry leaves town are much better than the Warriors bench. They have Watson, Bogans, Brooks, Hump, and Blatche.

The Nets bench will only get better with that 1st round pick they have while the Warriors does not have a draft pick

Warriors and I agree that's it's not really close. Brooklyn has close to zero flexibility. They'll have to get really creative to improve their roster. Warriors have some impending roster moves as well, but I don't think they'll be too much of an issue provided that Curry,Barnes, and Thompson all continue to improve. The Nets players have basically peaked or are on the downswing

Joe Johnson is over 30, Thompson is 23. Hes a better defender than Joe, better shooter. Joe Johnson is way overrated IMO not a 100 million player.

He's not a 100 million dollar player....Never said he was.

And he's only overrated if you actually rate him highly.

Yea the East is basically the Miami Heat. If the Nets played with some heart they could have been the 2nd best team in the east, since they can match up with the Pacers size. At least PJ got fired. Hopefully the Nets could get a good coach since Doc decided to go back to the Celtics.

Well to be fair Williams if he shot as much as Curry he would of avg 26 as well. Curry attempted 3 more shots than him in the 2nd avg and only avg 3 more PPG. Williams avg 23 PPG on 48% shooting and 16 shots. Curry avg 26 on 19 shots
