Question for you.
I heard a local station say the other day that Neil Young did background vocals on a Led Zeppelin song.
Wasn't paying attention to the Zeppelin song playing at the time.
Haven't been able to find that bit of trivia anywhere.

When I was searching liner notes and other trivia type sites I did run across this.
It was also mentioned on Wikipedia.
Unless my age is getting to me, that's not what I heard the DJ reference.
Can't recall the tune, but it was a relatively rare Zeppelin song you'd hear on the radio.
(Unlike your usual list of classic Zeppelin songs all too familiar.)

i was going to mention when the Levee Breaks is when Neil joined most of Zep on stage at RnR hall

i cant tell you for sure

but i do know the R Plant insists that Down By The Seaside is a nod to o'l Uncle Neil

also Neil mentions Jimmy Page on his track Downtown from Mirror Ball era...
