Torterella says the hit on Boyle from Neil is the same as the 25 game suspension blow torres delivered to hossa.

Tough to tell from that angle, but it doesn't look nearly as late, or nearly as blindside. It's really hard to tell if Niel got high on him from that angle though. Niel also doesn't have the history Torres does. My gut instinct is that Torts is riding the white pony and doesn't know up from down right now.

That's why I said clean. I don't think he even made contact with Boyle's head, and his skates were on the ice all the way through the hit.

To be fair, it's pretty easy to avoid a head shot when the guy you are decking is 6'7"....
