no snow where I live. Cloudy and cold though. Real, blankity blank cold. But it is above zero, so I guess there is good news.

Way up north in Wisconsin, near Michigan border on the UP(upper peninsula), FOUR FEET OF SNOW.

If you are driving to Madison, roads are clear at this time.

I don't even see any snow on the screen and the snow that was supposed to fall during the night did not materialize. Maybe snow tonight, but the cold might not make it happen.

All I want to really see is good game on Husker side, that will mean they have a chance. The worse nightmare is Whisky jumps out to 14-21 point lead in early/mid, first half. Then all coaches will be scrambling and scratchin their noggins on what to do.

I agree completely but the line has been strong. Everyone talks about Wiskies defense. I don't buy into it though. I think ours is better. Our line is the best we've had in years. What we need is for our linebackers to step up and play their best game and again I think they can.

I think we are in good shape defensively. I'll even go out on a limb and say that if our offense doesn't leave them on the field all day because of turnovers and Becks 3 pass, punts, they will keep us in this game.

But yeah we have to stop the run by using our linebackers to contain and to pressure.

Statistically speaking the Badgers are the #1 overall defense in the country based on running, passing, sacks, etc. When you break it down into QB rating, Comp%, YPC, etc UW is top 5 in all categories. The only bad game the Badgers defense really had this year was vs LSU which is when they lost 3 starters in the second half and then relinquished 21 points. They lost their starting NT and DE and the running game for LSU finally gashed us. Other than that nobody has done too much of anything to us. I not only believe this is the best defense in the Big Ten but they are right there with the best in the country with some of the elite SEC defenses.

Nebraska's passing defense has been above avg and rushing defense isn't as solid as UW's. However the run D is the best we've seen all year and will probably have the same game plan in stacking the box. Nebraska has a solid D but I believe UW is superior in all aspects. However shelton and the FS is susceptible to giving up big plays deep due to penalties. Good luck and enjoy the game.
