Nebraska vs oregon Game Thread

I Thought Banker called a hell of a game. The Boys were in position to make plays most of the day. Just got beat in the open field A hand full of times against very skilled backs and receivers.
Can't help but think Langsdorf reverted back to some of his same shit from last season though. Couple of drives in the 1st half where we were moving the ball pretty well and couldn't help but start throwing some weird shit in there. And then abandoning the run the 1st half of the 4th when Ozigbo was getting 5 yards a pop.

Can't fault him too much. He has a plan, unlike previous OCs we've had. The bubble screen that ended up being a backwards pass was just poor execution. Wilbon got too far back and we missed a couple blocks. That should never be a backwards pass. We also didn't abandon the run when Ozigbo was getting 5 yards a pop...we were getting 2-3 when we started trying to test the edges and get the defense moved out of the middle because they were selling out to stop the run. Sure enough, they had to adjust and we were able to run it again.

Banker, Langendorf and Riley operate as one...loved watching the game yesterday.

Banker is the key to the three coaches IMO. Huskers got a great DC now, should only get better from what I saw. I'm sure the offensive Duck players were sore on their trip home.

Don't jinx him! lol Some people are concerned with a QB completing 60% or more of their passes, but if he completes 50 to 55% of his passes and doesn't make errors to get us beat than that's all we can ask for. TA played one heck of a game.

I agree. I hope they get by Northwestern. That's a trap game, and I'm afraid it's going to be a really tough game. Nebraska is favored by about one TD.
