Rake leaves? Two words - mulcher mower.

I need to pull my boat out of my garage and run some Sta-Bil in it. That boat takes up the space of 2 cars deep and I'd sell it but my grandsons are like 2 years old and I want to get them outdoors once they get out of diapers. Perhaps I could take @Tomhusker fishing. Hey Tom, you aren't back in diapers, are you?

Lots of words.

I have a mulcher mower. Mulcher mower just dies.

I live on two acres of land in the woods. I am probably surrounded by 500 fully grown oak trees. There is a wind tunnel down the wooded lane to my cul de sac. I can collect two feet deep of leaves on a really bad day.

One year, a lazy neighbor decided to save their leaves and mowing for about four weeks. Ha Ha HA. Joke was on them. They did have 175 leaf bags. I just take my leaves and dump them in the ravine. I have three dumping spots.

Leaf raking ends once the first snow sticks or around December 13. Hopefully, I have most of the leaves moved by then. The big dump doesn't happen for another three weeks.

Beat Northwestern. Go Big Red.

I rake mine in a pile when the wind is blowing the right direction and they just disappear.

I know some of you got a little to carried away with the beverages last night. Even though we won it still was a fucking shit show. The play on the field has regressed since Riley got here. Since he's been here the oline play is just a big pile of steaming dog shit. Right now I would take a Barney Cotton coached o line and I'm not saying much there but Nebraska oline play was better. At times I couldn't stand Bo on the sidelines. But if this Nice guy finds a way to keep his job at Nebraska for another season I'm going to throw up.

Not to mention, not every team is going to drop 3 easy TD passes to let us stay in the game!

I would be if I wore pants. I find it easier to just walk around with nothing on and hose off if anything sticks. So I'm ok to take fishing.

I only ask because @popeyecv64 seems to be in need of adult diapers in his young age as he pisses himself apparently - his words not mine.

this, like 1000%. i thought for sure with 2 weeks off and knowing the o-line was the huge weakness on this team, they would come out showing some real work was done during that time. they actually looked even worse, i'm not even sure how that is possible. if somehow MR gets a 4th year, Cav has to be gone. but every week, i'm less convinced MR deserves another year. I was fine giving him one more year if he could get to 6 or 7 wins with showing some improvement over these final games. especially if he could keep the recruiting class together and with the really tough schedule next year that i didn't want to throw a 1st year coach at, but the more i watch how bad our o-line and DBs are playing, i'm just not sure it's worth it.

The only thing that changed was the four man defensive front and giving Bradley some quality time with carries. It is mind numbing how bad the offensive line is. I would love to heard an explanation of why they play so poorly. We can see better line play at Doane or Midland U.

And then next year he deserves yet a 5th season because he throws Langsdorf under the bus?

Give him another season, he got rid of so-and-so.

In the mean time Riley's fumbling with a fucking gum wrapper while his defense has it's back to the end zone.

he'd only get a 5th with vast improvement over this year. i honestly believe DLs play calling wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the piss poor o-line play. i mean what are you supposed to call when it's so inconsistent? Illinois was the most consistent 1st half the o-line has blocked and the play calling was pretty darn good. good mix of run and pass.

i'm really leaning towards MR being out though now. I kinda flipped on that after OSU and then seeing the piss poor play by the o-line out of the bye week. had that game gone a little better, i might have kept my stick with MR attitude, but i just don't think i can do it anymore.

I think DL is accountable for Cavanaugh, but that's just me.

When someone brings up Cavanaugh, I harken back to when Wisconsin (2012) fired their OL coach 2 games into the season.

They went on to beat Nebraska (70-31) in the Big 10 CCG.

well, i'd go one step further and say it goes all the way up to MR. that's why i am leaning towards letting him go. that dreadful play after the bye week, just doesn't make me think there is going to be any change for next year.

Absolutely.

It was Riley who made the choice to start his career at Nebraska with certain assistant coaches. The lion's share he brought from Oregon St. He has since tossed them under the bus one by one to appease the masses and buy 'more time'.

I'm listening to his presser right now. "We need to do this better on offense", "We need to do that better on defense" as if this is week 2 of 2015. We hear this same spiel week after week.
This is a rhetorical presser from every week since he's been here.

The staff changes in the past should have solved those issues?

Can't sling it when you're playing Defense so there's no point in paying attention.

I'll tell you right now if Moos doesn't fire Riley after the season or Riley doesn't walk away from this job then this will be a fucking travesty. What this Head football coach and this staff have fielded this season is more disgraceful IMO then any antic Pelini had on the sidelines. Riley has had blowouts just like Pelini and his staff, at least Pelini and his staff could beat Iowa. In no way am I endorsing Pelini. He should have been let go the year before but wasn't because we had a chickenshit of an AD. I believe we have a real leader in place now in Moos. I'm sick of hearing about the recruits. This year it going to be a small class anyway. So they don't sign as many this season it allows the new coach to go out and sign a bigger class next year and not scramble trying to find kids.
