Funny

A 4th year HC (Harbaugh) getting slapped around 62-39 and Michigan fans boast about sharing the division title with that team that ass r*ped them.

Same HC got ass r*ped 41-15 by (9-3) Florida in it's bowl game with a month to prepare.

This is Bo Pelini stuff without the outright division titles.

Pelinin won 5 more games than Frost in his first year after taking over a 5 win program.

He also inherited more talent from Callahan. Frost inherited very little from Riley.

Harbaugh is 4 years into the failure that is Michigan.

I note the Michigan fan excuses have waned since the "but, but, but, Harbaugh got no talent from Hoke" in 2015. They now have to lie to themselves about sharing a division title with a team that ass r*ped them 62-39.

Michigan recruiting rankings that Harbaugh inherited

2012: 6th
2013: 4th
2014: 20th

Since Harbaugh....

2015: 37th (first season)
2016: 8th
2017: 5th
2018: 22nd

Harbaugh is (1-3) in bowl games. He's lost 3 straight.
He's NOT an elite coach and has proven so. He is actually quite average a la Bo Pelini (without the outright division titles).

Michigan only had like 15 players drafted that first season. Obviously there was no talent there.

Good for Michigan.

That does not take away from my point (#2) that Nebraska had a completely new coaching staff and new schemes on both sides of the ball.

In 4 years at the helm, Harbaugh has yet to achieve Bo Pelini status.
.

Harbaugh won 10 games in his first year and finished the season ranked 12th in the country, something Pelini never did at Nebraska (though he did finish ranked 14th once)

That first season — Harbaugh and UM had a new coaching staff and new schemes on both sides of the ball, as well as a grad transfer QB, yet still found a way to win 10 games and finish in the top 12 in the country.

What is your next excuse for the absolute embarrassment of a Nebraska team last year against UM?!?

It seriously looked like a middle school team playing a college team. Nebraska should have sent a thank you to UM for basically running out the clock in the second half, so it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

Can you read?

Harbaugh inherited far better talent than Frost did.

In year two, the jury is still out on Frost.

In year five, we know what to expect from Harbaugh...... Bo Pelini (without the outright division titles).

LOL

Does that same logic not apply to 2018 Nebraska that you just boasted about in the previous post?
.

Here’s the difference — that is RIGHT NOW. You know, with the same coaches and many of the same players, etc. Not 6-7 years ago and 2 or 3 coaches ago.

That is why it is hilarious to hear Nabraska fans say anything about UM football, when they were given the curb stomping they received last year.

As I said — the only thing relevant at Nebraska right now is your women’s volleyball team. The last time the football team finished a season ranked ANYWHERE in the top 25 is 2012. Think about that one.

I know. Michigan did go 5-8 the year before he took over. Way better than the 4-8 Frost took over.

Yeah, that’s it. Keep those excuses coming.

What happened in 2013? 2014? 2015? 2016? 2017? All years where Nebraska finished outside the top 25. Was it the lack of talent again?

Frost deserves a chance to turn things around. We know he inherited a mess with little to no talent.

Harbaugh inherited two Top 10 recruiting classes and has added two more Top 10 classes since. Two of those four Top 10's were Top 5 recruiting classes.

After four full years into his stint, he's achieved less than Bo Pelini did.

Harbaugh would be on the hot seat by the likes of Bama, Ohio St, Oklahoma, and even Nebraska.

The irony of it is quite funny. A team who hasn't done anything in even longer is making fun of a team with more recent success - huh? Last time I checked, their savior didn't make a bowl game last year and lost to Troy...
You do realize Nebraska has the more recent success. Michigan hasn't won anything important since the 40s

Pre-2000 isn't really "recent success".

A very average coach (Pelini) and a terrible coach (Riley).

Harbaugh is like Pelini in being 'very average', but without the outright division titles.

Harbaugh actually had more talent than both Pelini and Riley. Far more.

Okay Nebraska played for a national title and played multiple ccgs ( that means actually winning divisions) since 2000 Michigan hasn't won anything important

Nebraska is 3-2 vs Michigan since 2000.

We don't really consider that success though, as Michigan is just another Missouri.

2001 season...... You have 1 b10 champ claim. The rest are 2 and 3 way ties lol. Nobody cares about a champ who didn't win a ccg lol

"Multiple"?

LOL. Twice would be a better way to say that.

They won the Big 10 title outright in 2003.
They shared the Big 10 title with Iowa in 2004.

They lost both bowl games BTW.

They haven't won a conference title since then (14 years now).

They have not won an outright division title since divisions were created in 2011.
