By all means- this should be a straight up BLOW OUT......... However Rhoads ain't no dummy....... I can't help but feel that this game will be closer than it should be- however using numbers my predictions have been much closer than my gut- with the exception of the Texas game- where we flat didn't show up..............

Bo is always very tight lipped about injurys...... IMO when he says he's fine- that means he's fine........ when he says he'll be out for a period of time- who the fuck knows......

According to the local news this evening, it's an ankle injury anyway. Not a deep thigh bruise or a thigh bone bruise that had been previously reported..

Martinez practices, ready for Iowa State

Nebraska offensive coordinator Shawn Watson says injured quarterback Taylor Martinez practiced ''surprisingly well'' Tuesday and will be ready to play Saturday at Iowa State.

Martinez sprained his right ankle in the ninth-ranked Cornhuskers' game against Missouri last week and was on the sideline for the second half. He missed practice Monday.

Watson said there's no swelling in Martinez's ankle and that the freshman's workload will increase at Wednesday's practice.

Watson said he was impressed with Martinez's ability to bounce back, calling him ''Superman.''
