Nebraska Basketball -- Staying Optimistic This Season

I gotta get up for work at 6, so this is me last post of the night. But here is what I'm here to say.......

Nebraska can still make post-season play. Yes, I said it. You heard it here first. Talley is finally joining Ubel in taking on that Senior role, and with the emergence of guys like Shields, Rivers, and Tyrance stepping up and making some plays.......and Ray making 3's, we have a chance against anyone.

Northwestern just rattled off wins over #23 Illinois and #12 Minnesota, and then we kicked the living piss out of them. We may have beat anyone in the BIG that day with that level of execution. Hell we left 10 more points out there at the free-throw line alone.

We have everyone healthy and ready to go against Minnesota on Tuesday night. The Gophers are coming off of a 4 game losing streak, and we have won 2 out of our last 3. I think we're going to go on the road and fuck them up.

Go Big Red, and fuck the haters! Nebraska will still get to 7 wins and will make the NIT. Dadburnit!

To be honest, I'd be happy even if they don't make the post season. For the first time since I've followed Nebraska people actually seem to give at least 1 fuck about the team

It's clear that Miles is a good coach, and this team will improve under him. They probably won't be perennial contenders but its obvious that Miles has this team startin on the upswing

2 more wins this season, maybe 3. That's 4 or 5 more than most thought. Good season considering the talent and depth, both of which will dramatically increase next season. I love the direction that this team is going.
