Nebraska basketball has size.....finally

6'11" - 340lbs, Andre Almeida

6'11" - 275lbs, Christopher Niemann

6'11" - 245lbs, Jorge Brian Diaz (needs to gain weight, is gaining some)

6'10" - 240lbs, Brandon Ubel (shot 52.4% from 3-point range last year playing in all but one game)

The big guy is the new transfer. Doc didn't want to make comparisons, but he said Andre may have better ball skills than Dexter Pittman at Texas......that is a good thing.

Nobody will be pushing around a 6'11" 340lb kid who also has a reputation for being physical......finally rebounds should be something we can expect to see.

The guard position is actually the bright spot for our returning players....now with a stable of big guys down low we may finally be able to accomplish something.

well size is what we have been lacking for years now, so with those 4 guys, size shouldnt be an issue!

Now that Doc has some big uglies to play with Nebraska should become compete in the Big 12/10 if Doc can't get it done in 3 years its time to say goodbye.

And I do believe Doc will get Nebraska into the NCAA tourney......if not this year, I think he will take them past the first round next year. I have big expectations for what Doc has brewing up there right now

yes we know they get gifted 10 mil a year from the football but with the new arena and the move to the Big 10 it should help with recruiting for Doc like I said he get three years if he can't turn it around then it's time for him to move on. I believe Nebraska can have a quality basketball team. UNL has a lot of qualities to bring in some quality bball recruits.
