I agree with you. It seemed like one of those penalties that was thrown because a QB could have gotten hurt. I didn't see helmet to helmet. The QBs helmet was the one that was down. I didn't actually see Stanford break any rules on the play though.

Obvious interference definitely moved ND into field goal range. You can't extend the arm. They'll call it every time.
