Surprisingly, I’m off to a good start.
Overs: TWolves 6-2, Hous 5-3, Hawks 5-3
Unders: Bulls 3-6, Nets 4-5, Bulls 3-6

Just need the Bulls to fall apart and the Nets to realize they should be tanking.

The nets can’t take because they don’t own their own picks

They need to tread water

If anything they’re a team that should be using their Philly and suns picks with cam Thomas and dinwidide exprikng deal to get in on lavine

That wouldn't be bad....they are still like a competitive playin team as is.

But, that would make sense.

Starting to come around on the Lakers bidding for Lavine. Mainly because he & AD wouldn't be a bad duo in post Bron era.

But, the Bulls will want more than our '29 pick and filler to make salaries work.

Yeah they can’t bottom out. The rockets own their picks for a while

So you might as well buy and give yourself a lightning striking shot

You’re not wrong but it doesn’t fit my personal sports desires so their front office should do what I want them to do.

If your filler is expiring salaries that would be beneficial to the Bulls.

Think they want more than just one pick but not all teams want expiring contracts....some maybe, but not all.

If they’re young guys who can improve yes

Or at least flippable veterans

But being able to take on bad deals is a significant opportunity for bad teams to add picks

That gives them multiple bites at the Apple or the ability to move around the board how they see fit

I do not see Russell, Hachimura, Christie and the '29 1st landing Lavine. Need at least 1 more 1st rd pick if not 2. Lavine gonna return 2-3 picks plus salaries.

Now they could get DeRozan cheaper but he isn't a shooter and we need that right now. Even if the slackers pick up their shooting.

DeRozan would fit with AD and Bron because he an unselfish vet but shooting....really wouldn't mind that if we can't get Hield....

Might be able to get Hield for a contract and a few 2nd rounders. Hasn't been any interest in him and Mathurin starting and balling out.

Time for the first update as most teams have played 10 games, this puts us about 1/8 of the way into the season.
Based on the current projected win totals here are the current standings:

1699969545034.png

As far as scoring goes, remember that if your win total for a team is over or under the preseason win total you get 1,000 points. You also get an extra 100 points for each additional win/loss that team gets over the course of the year. So for the most extreme example, the 2-8 Grizzlies are currently providing the most points if you picked the under. 1,000 plus another 2900 since they are currently on track to win 29 less games than their original projection.

Note that the Random team is currently in 4th place lol. Good luck to all, will have another update after 20 games or so.
