Commissioner Adam Silver says NBA jerseys to have sponsor logos in near future - ESPN

I am very loyal apologist normally, but I oppose this in every single way. It will NOT make tickets cheaper. It will NOT reduce commercials. It will just be something stupid to make money and make us look like some international team or bankrupt league. I went or will have gone to about six games this year. If they do this, I only go to five that year. Take that, NBA! Further, I will boycott any sponsor, several McDonald's, Coke, or Nike.

I would rather add a new European team, than to do this. I would rather make three steps legal. I would rather add a four point half-court shot. I would rather pay five more dollars per game I go to, each game, than to do this. I would rather have a minute more of commercials than to do this. Heck, add commercial to each break. I don't care. Don't do this.
