Rodgers led the Packers to 8-9 last year, but adding him to the 7-10 Jets is going to result in 12-5? That's a weird amount of confidence in the Jets.
That to me is more of the public and the “experts” looking at the Jets roster and saying “if only they had a QB”. We will see if they’re right. Their division is tough. Bills (you know about), Miami depending upon Tua’s health, and maybe the Pats will be better now that Belicheck has stopped practicing self sabotage on the offensive side of the ball.

I expect some level of improvement from the Jets, but 12=5 seems excessive. I'm not sold on the Jets' WR corps, they jettisoned some talent to fit Rodgers' underwhelming vet crew from last year's Packers. RB is a bit up in the air too due to Hall's injury. Carter and Abanikanda should be able to hold the fort until he's ready, but we haven't really seen that yet.

I like their defense a bunch. A top defense can hide a lot of warts.

Sure, and it propped them up last year. Their QBs were mostly awful last year, but Rodgers wasn't a world beater either.
Time will tell if it will work but to me this feels a lot like Denver acquiring Peyton Manning on the back end.

Wilson was pretty good last season and they upgraded at QB. He is going to emerge as their #1 WR. Plus, they have Lazard and Hardman. And Cobb and Corey Davis off the bench.

The Jets have a really good defense and added to it.

They may not be 12-5 but 10-7 or even 11-6 is possible.

That's essentially what I said, some improvement but 12-5 seemed a stretch.

That dude should be happy to still be on any team at this point. I expect he is.
I’m torn on this guy. All his injuries tell me he’s cooked. At the same time, he was never a top end speed guy and he made his hay making contested catches. We will see if Carr trusts him enough to throw 50/50 balls his way.

You were dogging their receivers....

Their WR additions are basically the vets from the Packers that people were critical of last season. I think the Jets would've been better off keeping Elijiah Moore over some of those additions, but they bent over backwards to appease Rodgers.

Hardman is a 3rd or 4th WR type, same as Cobb but not as worn out. Davis has largely been phased out of the offense. Wilson is of course very good and should continue to improve, but will this offense provide more than the 147 targets he had last year? At least a greater percentage of those should be catchable with Rodgers at QB. Lazard is solid, but only had one more reception (60) last season than Aaron Jones and will likely lose targets to Wilson.

Don't sleep on the Ravens.

Jackson got the bag and he has offensive weapons in OBJ, Flowers, Bateman, and Andrews catching the ball.

I most definitely will sleep on the Ravens.

Jackson getting the bag makes it harder for them to fill out the rest of the roster with the quality they had before.

They did pretty well this offseason considering Jackson signed after most of their moves were done.

The Ravens are one of the best run organizations out there, can’t ever count them out. And I’m far from a Jackson fan.
