Well the Big Ten conference hasn't been able to count properly for years. How many years has it been since there were only 10 teams in that conference? I could look it up, but I'm busy doing something.

They should change the name though.

And the SEC. If this is only football related how about the We're better than everyone else conference?
WBEEC? Or get rid of else and WBEC?

I thought the Big 10 was called the B1G now?

Well welcome to whatever you wanna call it. Gonna seem really weird for a while to have SoCal teams in the conference.

I wanna see USC & UCLA play road games in BigTen country in November.

lol

You realize that 90% of their games are completed before November 16th, right?

It's not going to be near the issue some folks want to claim it is.

I agree....could happen, but not often. Truth be told, I never thought of USC as a team to shy away from playing the best schools anyway. If I want to see anyone play in cold weather it's one of the SEC schools who don't like to play at the home stadium of top opponents.

Has USC ever played a road game, say the last week of the regular season, in weather like in BigTen country?

It was more talking some trash than anything else.

USC doesn't shy away from playing anyone that I'm aware of.

Plus, USC and UCLA have games in the Pacific Northwest in late October and November. It gets plenty cold, windy and rainy up there that time of year.

Yes. There are 4 teams in the Pacific Northwest.

Didn't realize the winter weather in the Pacific NW in late November was comparable to conference places like Minnesota and Wisconsin.

I looked up the USC/N.D. games. Going back to the '09 season the latest the Trojans have played there was October 22nd (the '11 season).

I'm not saying they can't play in cold weather. But it's going to take an adjustment playing at some of those places late in the season if that would happen. But here's the thing. I don't expect the conference to do that to USC.

Any road games like that will take place during the first half of the schedule.

Yeah, but PNW cold isn't the same as Michigan/Ohio/Pennsylvania cold.

Forgot about Minnesota. But no, the PNW doesn't get anywhere near as cold as the midwest. Playing at UW is far more enjoyable than playing at Illinois in mid-November.
