I think the only possible way there would be a Dame for Westbrook trade is Dame would have to have a no trade clause and demand a trade to the Lakers. I don't know if he has one, but even if he does and would use it, he has said that he doesn't want to be part of a superteam, so I don't see him trying to force himself to the Lakers.

What could be interesting though, might be Westbrook for CJ. If Dame were to demand a trade somewhere, the Blazers would basically need to just blow it the rest of the way up and start over. Westbrook would put butts in seats, but not really add enough wins to hurt the Blazers lottery status.

No way the Blazers would do that either.

CJ is a very good player. Russ is well past the point where he can be considered an asset at his current salary.

They can do a lot better if they decide to dump CJ and Dame.

I agree. My main point is that it will most likely take something like that to move Westbrook for someone who can fit better. Basically, a team that has decided to tank, but wants a ''name'' that will put butts in seats without adding enough wins to hurt their lottery odds.

The Blazers situation makes for a good example of that.

Extremely disappointing performance from Georgia.

If Michigan win then the playoffs is set but seeding will be very interesting but my guess is they'll make Bama #1 and drop Georgia to #3

I agree. Michigan should be #1

It matters a lot.

Playing Cincy is highly preferable to playing Georgia.

But my guess is that Bama will be #1 to avoid the back to back rematch.

Theoretically, the committee does not worry about re-matches. They just rank them based on their season...

Theoretically.

Looks like OU is going with Brent Venables and it appears that Ole Miss offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby will be coming over. Solid OU like choice.

Theoretically.

Just like theoretically the NCAA tournament committee doesn’t intentionally seed potential matchups between out of conference rivals.

We shall see.

Maybe the overrated team was UGA. Best win was, who, Arkie? Finally played a very good team and the vaunted D was exposed.

Looks like only question for committee is how to rank UGA, Bama, UM and Cincy. Guessing they don't want UGA-Bama in semis so it's probably Bama, UM, UGA, Cincy...certainly could make a case for UM but then they just make UGA 4 and Cincy 3 so doesn't really matter.
