What for? So he can be mad at you while your team sucks and rebuilds?
Guy said we should run back the exact same defense....how bad can he really think the team is?

I get he keeps saying wont take a new deal, but make him highest paid player AND fully guarantee the deal I think he becomes OK with team direction.

Yes that kind of contract worked so well for you last time lol

Glad you agree with Myles the team isn't bad, you might be a bit off there.

Very strawmanish of you. The Browns should do whatever the Browns feel like they should do. If they think trading him makes the most sense with an offer they like then have it it. If not, Myles can show up or quit. Pretty simple.
And regardless, the Browns stay the Browns.

That’s a total Browns move

Haha...didn't say I'd do it (though would have more faith in Myles than that other guy) but point is it's not all about winning for him. He talks about stats more than any player I can remember in this city.

I didn't say the defense didn't need any changes. Myles did. Makes him a little all over the place.

Seems like IF we moved Myles Washington would have to be one who'd make an offer.

But I think he stays.

I don’t want a major deal like that

Always depends on the price of course…

But I have a hard time believing the Myles Garrett price tag is going to be low enough for it to make sense for the Commanders.

Don’t let last year’s success fool you, they have a lot of holes still. Don’t want to sink a large chunk of resources available into 1 guy.

Everyone has their own agenda, regardless of whether it is sinister or not. There is no reason to stifle someone's opinion, positive or negative; it's all part of this process.

I disagree.

Outsiders opine all you want.

Insiders need to keep it to themselves. Nothing good can come from sharing that.

I hear ya, but my thought is IF he's dealt it will not be for the 2 first rounders being mentioned by so many. But even if just a 1, 3 and a player not a no brainer to do it. Don't think any of the teams with the highest paid DEs did much this season.

As good as Myles is?

I would uncomfortable with anything more than a 1st and 4th or a 1st and a decent veteran player

I think he goes for more than that.

He might be thought of higher than him, but Mack I believe went for 2 firsts, but Bears gave back a 2nd if memory serves. I think you are right and could be for more than 1st and 4th for sure. If I'm the Browns and can get 2 firsts I might be inclined to do it...especially if from a team I was not convinced will pick near bottom of draft both seasons.
