I actually thought Kendrick did okay, but as others pointed out hip hop isnt the genre for a huge Stadium. The Dr Dre Eminem one worked, but that is it.

I am sure they will go back to R and B or country or something next year

Len Dawson, Otis Taylor, Willie Lanier, Ed Podolak, et al....

Great times...

My first 2 seasons of Jr. All American football I wore #14. The first weekend after I got that number, I saw the Chiefs play and even though I was a Rams fan...Ed Podolak was my favorite player. lol
I've met and know some of his family.
Ed's 2 daughters still live here and do business in the Bay area.
One of his nephew's (Charlie) owned a few restaurants here in SF...one of which was near my place and I would go to on a semi regular basis but it got shutdown during covid and never reopened. I believe the others are still up and running.

The "He Gets Us" campaign using Johnny Cash's cover of "Personal Jesus" was just spot on. A confusing song choice for ads that only confused people would take seriously.

Congrats, Philly fans....

Mainly @fightinfunbags.....fuck that other racist douchebag.
That cat was some dopey sicko from the political board. Same idiot who thought posting a cotton field on a Juneteenth thread last year was somehow supposed to be funny...

Needless to say, that didn't go very well for the prick...

Thanks fellas. Was completely wrong about this team on many levels. I said they’d be 9-8. I questioned investing that much money in a RB. I said at 2-2 the Eagles had no pass rush, I said Hurts wasn’t good enough to take them anywhere big, and I said that Sirianni was a glorified cheerleader in over his head.

So very excited to have been wrong on all accounts.

I never dreamed that the Eagles would go from a horrid defense last year to the best defense in the league this year. So excited for Vic Fangio.

I’m interested to hear where people rank this team all time. There are individual defenses better than this defense. There are individual offenses better than this offense. But there are few teams that are as complete as this one.

+12 in turnovers in 4 playoff games. The Packers and Rams were in the end tougher competition than the Commanders and Chiefs.

The only team that really beat the Eagles this year were the Eagles. In losses to Commanders and Falcons they had the game won and dropped game sealing 4th down catches in the hands of sure handed players - flukes and the Tampa game where they sent a mash unit down there missing 7 starters to injury.

Didn’t @fightinfunbags have Sirianni fired like halfway through this year? Lol
I did! And the end of last year. In the end, it’s that adversity that brought the group together and they became champs. Just a great football situation for this guy.

I liked when he said to Kellen Moore “let’s run it back”. Of course it’s not happening that guy is ready.

It doesn’t matter, the way the nfl recycles coaches he has to get his name in the mix.
Another year with the Eagles and more of an opportunity to go deeper with his pass offense and he’s next year’s Ben Johnson. He would have first pick of each of 5-6 openings you can count on every year. New Orleans is a bad situation. No hope at QB position. Cap is all fucked up. Bad ownership. Bad front office.

Only reason he takes it is because it’s one of only 32 jobs in the world. Risky though. Taking this job is a one contract and you’re an OC the rest of your life path.
