True, but we would miss it big time if it changed.

Yeah

My family usually eats at 2pm so the noon game is just background noise while everyone gets ready to eat

And the 4pm game is for when dessert is out :)

Exactly.

And taking issue with the Cowboys especially is a wild point of view.

People either love them or hate them. They are polarizing.

That is the exact team you want playing in front of a national audience whether they are good or not.

People going to watch to see them get throttled.

by the Giants third string QB? I prefer to keep my food DOWN.

What I’m saying is it doesn’t matter. Maybe people realized after looking at Miami closer that Alabama is a much stronger team. My point is it doesn’t matter, yet anyway.

It does matter though. As I said, current rankings can have an effect on the final ranking. I'd like a little more transparency on how some of these folks vote. If you're going to drop a team in the ranking after a bye week...fine, but what's the logic behind that? Did Miami have a bad week of practice? lol

Honestly the truth is the SEC and Big are going to run this.

I just suggested the time switch based on who is the better team. I rather have lions/bears on at 430 over cowboys/giants. I’m not usually that focused on the early game but that 430 game is when I’m locked in

But I don’t think that is consistent for everyone.

Exact opposite for me on Thanksgiving.

Game 2 is family time.

Give me the good game early.

Understandable but the nfl clearly looks at the 430 game as the spotlight game which is why the cowboys are always there. If they want to keep up tradition and not change the teams then the least they can do is swap the times of the spotlight game depending on which team/matchup is better

Also think there should be more of an emphasis on better matchups. Bears and Giants weren’t supposed to be good. This should have been lions vs Vikings or Pack and cowboys vs eagles

If you didn’t want to stick with division matchups, bills vs lions and ravens vs cowboys would have been amazing. I wish they treated thanksgiving games like the nba does their Christmas schedule

Yep.

I mean if you are going to take issue, it shouldn’t be with the Cowboys.

It should be that the Giants were selected as the opponent.

Giants were always going to be bad this year. This game would have projected as a beat down if Dallas lived up to expectations.

No.

But they are getting it right now.

That should be the goal. Get it right. Alabama is definitely the more imposing team.

That I would agree with.

At least on the Giants side.

Bears you at least get the Caleb Williams appeal (in terms of what the schedule makers were looking at.

seems like they try to rotate divisional opponents pretty randomly.

I don't know about hot...but it'll be warm. This was expected to be a bit of a rebuild year anyway and while being 5-5 sucks, it's not like they're getting blown out in the games they've lost. They're literally 5 plays from being 10-0. They've had a lead in the 4th quarter in all 10 games.
QB Bryce Underwood flipped from LSU to Michigan.

Brian Kelly in trouble down in the Bayou. Losing that kid and they always seem to under-perform and Kelly never seemed like a natural fit down there....

How many years?
Not sure, I have a friend high up at LSU told me they upped their offer to 12 mil with 3 mil at signing. Who knows what’s true, not in anyone’s interest to be honest with this crap.
