I'll have a Bloody Mary or 2 occasionally after my coffee on Saturday morning while watching College Gameday. Can't remember the last time I drank a full beer.

Wasn't even a decision I made to not drink...I'd just rather smoke a bowl. I feel the effects faster and it's much less filling. Especially now that I don't really get the munchies anymore. lol

Worst hangover I ever had was in the early-ish 80's. A friend and I drove out to PPhoenix to go to a Suns/Lakers game with my Aunts who had season tickets. He and I went out to a club to party the night before the game and I basically broke every drinking rule there is...mixed different alcohols, didn't eat anything, etc.

The next morning, I'm so hungover that I didn't think I would be able to make it to the game. My aunt says "I'll be right back". She leaves and returns about 20 minutes later with a Taco Bell bag and says "Here, eat these. Don't ask, just eat them". I open the bag, there are 2 tacos in it. Ate them and about 20ish minutes later, I felt good enough to go to the game.

I wasn't up to drinking anything but water while at the game, but I was good to go on watching the game, eating, etc.

The bartender at the bar I drank at made the best Bloody Mary's. It was a damn good way to get the Sunday NFL action started.

There are times a beer & a good shot of tequila sounds great. But then I think of the inflammation alcohol causes in my lower back and decide against it.

From now on the only "beer" I'm drinking is keef cola root beer.

Sometimes, when I babysit the grandsons, we go to The Hat, get those fries and send him a picture of us eating them.
