I'd agree that one's a possibility. I actually think the Browns are good. Time'll tell how good...
I do like the moves we made and think addition of schwartz could be huge.....but all comes down to Watson. Play like he did in 2020 and sky's the limit. Play like last year and we are in trouble.

So.....Houston doesn't sign JV just to trade for him AND give up their top and 4th best prospect????

so we already caught Segura. Segura makes like 8..5M next year I think

we did get a prospect out of it named Khalil Watson. A couple years ago there was speculation that Khalil Watson might have gone #1 overall in the draft to the Pirates as a signability draft pick (for people that dont know- this is "a thing" in baseaball". Everyone has the same pool of money to sign amatuer players- and sometimes you take guys over or under slot. It would be assumed by a guys agent if he was taken too early he would get "under slot".

he is an incredible athlete but is really lacking a hit tool thus far- but is still super young.

Mets are paying over 50 million dollars of remaining money owed. Also the Astros farm is kind of meh. That number one prospect is hitting like .240 in over 225 ABs in AA.

Chesia went out like a BITCH and i was time for Ferguson to hang it up 2 fights ago.
It’s wild that he got caught to the same submission in back to back fights. And Kevin Holland has done that submission before so it’s not unheard of with him landing it.

Interesting question on Dan Patrick today.

Suppose DeShaun Watson has a great season and leads the Browns to a 14-3 record...

Does he win MVP?

Or does the recent off the field stuff get used against him even though it's technically not supposed to?

What if the skies rained beer?

He’s a back up QB now and you don’t want a back up QB that won’t accept being a back up QB. Causes trouble.

Facts.

The 28th best QB in the league is just a backup for a team that doesn’t have their starter yet.

Not saying that is Wentz, but I see that argument all the time. “So and so is better than some of the starters in the league”.

Yeah, maybe. The terrible ones.

No team is aspiring to have a bottom 5 signal caller as their franchise QB.

Wentz will get a job when a starter goes down in preseason or early in the season.
