SEC is awesome at the top. But non-conference and the bottom of the league provide plenty of opportunity for wins.

I gave you credit for not meaning it that way. It most certainly was a blip on the radar in terms of the last 100 years. Going to lose more games no doubt, they will still take their turn in the playoffs though.

Make no mistake about it, it was a terrible season. Venables has to improve a lot this season or he won’t make it.

This one won’t end well for Taylor

I don’t know that he’s tradeable. The Colts are going to want at least a 2nd or 3rd. Shit…it’s Irsay so they may demand a 1st. Then his new team is going to have to step up to at least come close to his contract demand. His production slots him right around Barkley’s 10-11 million. Not a lot of teams have that much cap space right now. An interested party may have to renegotiate 2-3 existing deals to kick the can down the road in order to free up that cap.

Dude one season, that’s all there is and he was left in a horrible position talent wise. If he doesn’t make significant strides this season he will be gone. The other guy definitely wasn’t the guy for the sec either though.

Depends on the season. Texas A&M increased their recruiting status when they joined. Maybe OU can do the same. We all know that Oklahoma football was built on the backs of the OU boosters post WW2. Now they can do it legally with NIL. The problem for the Oklahomas of the world is that now everybody can present a young athlete with the bag through NIL. It’s also why Saban hates NIL. A competitive advantage has been taken away from these programs.
