I, of course, liked the Kings parts of this article.
Unfortunately they more people who do that the higher prices will be next year. Luc has already said they are expecting every game to sell out this year. So much for finding cheap tickets the day of the game.

I hope the NBA seasin is canceled. I heard today that Disney's rag came out with a list of the leagues top players & LeChoke was #1. That's all I need to know in terms of what they know about Sports in general.

Sorry, but Brodeur has the records & he has the Cups. Until Miller breaks those records & wins at least one cup he's not the best in the league. Heck it can be said that Thomas is the best American Goalie right now. He's got the hardware & a Cup.

Cheer up. The Sabres look very good this year & the Bills haven't had a team this good since Kelly was the QB. Buffalo's pro sports teams are giving their fans something to be excited about this season.

You still have the Isles to fall back on at least when it comes to the hardware department.

Yeah JT is definately lighting it up so far. It's a bit early for me to get too excited though. The Islanders have played all 4 games at home this season. I want to see how they handle the road a bit before I begin to think the playoffs are a possibility.

This is why the NBA lockout is good for the NHL. It doesn't matter much in Northeastern markets, or obviously Canadian markets- but places like LA, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta (OOPS!), Phoenix, etc will have a slight void in their sporting entertainment for the winter months. I say slight void since there is always college football/bball, NFL, etc- but there will be some diehard NBA types that might turn to the NHL for some sort of relief. Living in LA, I have already talked to a few Laker fans that said they were going to try out a few Kings games this year.

The NBA blows. I don't see why Bill has such a hard-on for it. If the NBA had the Lakers and Heat playing in my back yard(if i had a backyard), I'd pull the drapes shut.
