Were you old enough to watch in the 90s? Even though we knew the Bulls were winning it every year it was fun watching greatness.

Honestly this is feeling like the 2014 finals. Difference for me is the Spurs won with so much grace and class it was a little easier to tip the cap. The warriors aren't classless or anything, but they're so exuberant and demonstrative and taunt-y it's hard not to hate them even though I respect their greatness.

This shit again. The Spurs and Cavs are plenty of competition. And the Warriors are an alltime great team playing basketball in the most entertaining possible way. How that isn't fun I have no idea.

Speculation? I saw him fuck up his knee when he slipped on a wet spot and I saw how fucked up his arm was after he went down on it. I don't care what he says. He was jacked up. It happens. There's 4 rounds. Coming out clean as a whistle by not getting stuck in tough series on the way to the finals is part of the equation.

Lebron with 20 shots in game 1 and 18 tonight. In the previous 2 years in the finals vs the Warriors, he only attempted fewer than 21 shots once in 13 games. He already did that 2X in the first 2 games of the series.

I don't watch much basketball, but that was an incredible performance by the Warriors the other night. If they bring anything near that pace and intensity the rest of the series I don't see how the Cavs win a game.

For those who watch the Warriors more often, was that an especially good performance from them ?

I was hoping for a competitive series but it looks like the Warriors want it more than the Cavs.

Want to give one more shout to the guy everyone has been ragging on...Klay Thompson. Don't even care about his scoring today but he held Kyrie to 8/23. Dude is a game changing defender. His defense needs to be at this level from game 1 and 2 for the rest of the series. He's been spectacular.
