Did Rose get hurt again? The early Lakers and Celtics were in a weak NBA. There were very few teams....less than 10 and they had the talent. The 2000 Lakers and Bulls were impressive but not as much talent and great teams in the league across the board as today. I missed beating up on the Bulls in the playoffs this year...

Got carried away....I agree. My point was simply that the Lakers and Bulls recent 3 peats were impressive and that those were excellent teams. I do think the current era has had some great players and teams.

I honestly expected to hear about all kinds of shenanigans when they were in Miami for Games 3-4.

The sports world is full of stories of prank fire alarms at 2 am and prank phone calls at 3 am pulled on the visiting teams hotels.

Very slim chance..
The hotel competition is fierce to get visiting teams to stay there.
The last thing they want is any type of problem.

Just messin' with ya. I will say that, win or lose, I have a lot more respect for the Heat for having made 4 straight finals. There's a reason it's only been accomplished 4 times in league history.

My luck though, I would dump a drink on the floor during a Spurs breakaway...James would appear out of nowhere...chase him down...he'd slip on the drink, break his ankle and land on me.


That actually would be a rerun of what did happen when the Spurs played here regular season ( minus the spilled drink)...and it does not feel good to take a charge from LeBron James...
