I might have to settle for Whiteside for my rim protection... I was banking on Jarrett Allen sliding back to me due to his high price tag.

so far, decent Neys line up...I might have to settle for Whiteside for my rim protection... I was banking on Jarrett Allen sliding back to me due to his high price tag.
Sounds fun. Keeping track of trades might be a little difficult. All salaries will also have to be updated for current players. Fuuuuck lol
That’s what I am thinking too bc too many factors and work lolI think it’s a yearly start it over thing, more fun to me amyway
definitely sounds like a buncha work. but hey, it's your baby...That’s what I am thinking too bc too many factors and work lol
and actually, i DID have a proposal to throw in. can we work in trades? not between the teams we own, of course...That’s what I am thinking too bc too many factors and work lol
Yeah that was the plan, you can trade and you could even go over your cap as long as it used NBA trade rules. I believe 75% of salaryand actually, i DID have a proposal to throw in. can we work in trades? not between the teams we own, of course...
ah, i saw your post and re-read it. cool...Yeah that was the plan, you can trade and you could even go over your cap as long as it used NBA trade rules. I believe 75% of salary
Had Allen and his big salary fallen into Round 6, the plan was to play Barton and DeRozan together while using P.J. as a sniper off the bench...so far, decent Neys line up...
So for next offseason here is a possible idea….
We start this after NBA free agency is over. We keep our same teams and we will be using the 22-23 cap.
Any player that is a FA (RFA or UFA) and they sign with their same team (21-22) will stay on your current team (updated salaries). Any player that switches team or does not get picked up in FA will go into our FA pool. Also, all players that were bot drafted this year will be in the pool along with 21-22 rookies. Whatever they getting signed for with another team will be their salary. So therefore they will not be on your team anymore and your cap will be adjusted.
We can also make trades at this time and you can go over the cap as long as they fit the NBA trade rules. You cannot make a trade with your own team (since everyone has two teams).
You cannot go over your cap for a player in FA.
The only thing I am debating is how we decide who gets first choice on FA pickups and if we cut players, it should depend on their contract (so dead cap will count against your total cap #).
One way to decide picking order in FA is automatically narrow it down to the top 14 teams that didn’t make the playoffs and basically ping pong balls. Then the other 16 teams will depend on how far they got in the playoffs. Tiebreakers could be who got the lowest number of votes when we do matchups or something.
one other point is cap ceiling. It should be 22-23 cap line for luxury tax
You can only have 10 players exactly.
Thoughts or suggestions??
Indeed there was, and the Milwaukee Bucks are NOT happy. They plan on filing a grievance with the league on allegations of wiretapping by other teams. "Our plan was to act normal at first, then hold a monopoly on every active player named Green, then hopefully lure talent like Gerald Green and Willie Green out of retirement," fumed team president Feigen. "As part of our Green New Deal initiative to attract younger fans, this was integral. There is no way another team wanted Draymond at this price tag, no way for that washed up tub of sh*t. Anything to spite us." The new Bucks' owner Eric Trump (who immediately cut costs by trading Giannis for Doncic upon taking over in 2019) is in much better spirits though. "The lawsuits we are lining up are a slam dunk," he rejoiced. "I'm so geeked we might not even move the team to Green Bay after all."We had ourselves a Draymond Green sighting yesterday…
You lucked out, Dray is way too expensive for what he offers on the court. You dodged a bullet!Indeed there was, and the Milwaukee Bucks are NOT happy. Not too many left indeed, still a very cheap guy still available though. Don't name any names but we both know who it isHad Allen and his big salary fallen into Round 6, the plan was to play Barton and DeRozan together while using P.J. as a sniper off the bench...
The rebounder/rim protector options quickly fading.
