Does one get more points for outlook for the future?

We need a list of rules. I might be in if you guys get desperate…

There's clearly not enough people to fill all the spots. You should definitely participate.

It's a single season, in a vacuum, assessment.

So you draft the players based on this year's salary cap, assuming this year's productivity.

At the end the GM's will all submit their list of top 8 on each conference. From there the top 8 based on average will do a playoff style bracket where we will vote on who we think would win each matchup.

So drafting a young player with upside wouldn't be as valuable. It would be simply who has more value THIS year.

I'll take a team that no one wants - The Brooklyn Nets. Just tag me when I'm on the clock if I get busy at work...

I think you should stipulate that no Rookies who were drafted this year are eligible to be selected. Obviously we're high on a lot of guys, but since none of them have played an actual NBA game it makes it difficult to gauge actual value. Otherwise you'll get some arguments on here especially when it comes to playoffs. Just makes it cleaner, IMO, but it's your baby.
Yeah good point.

We will have 30 people declaring themself the winner, and that’s ok lol
I was actually think each owner would rank our top 8 teams from each conference, you would not rank your own team(s). We would establish a point system for 1-8 seeds. Then we would actually do matchups like the NBA playoffs. It could be awhile to vote on matchups but whatever.

If you own more than one team you obviously only get to rank your teams once and vote on matchups once.

Best fit and team overall. Obviously, people look at this a different way but nothing you can do about that. You just can't go over the cap so that will be the tricky part. A lot of strategy into this, do you start with younger guys that might not be as talented for salary purposes or go big with an aging star?

Fine by me. I don’t have a preference after that so fill me in towards the end with a team that wasn’t filled. When does this thing commence? I leave for the shore tomorrow for a week and won’t likely be posting as much.

Tell Snooky "Hey" for us.

Welp, DJ got the Lakers and Chrisper got the Suns. I'll wait til the end and if a Celtics fan hasn't grabbed them, I'll take them so I can have fun tanking them. lol

That’s north of us in Seaside. We’re south in between Ocean City and Cape May in Sea Isle City. If anybody wants to crush a Tired Hands IPA with me we’ll be on the deck at 5308 Central Ave.
