Players will be selected for every 5 years starting with 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005.

A players eligibility will be the first year they played in the NBA. Meaning, if they were drafted in 1974 but didn't play until 1975 they ARE eligible for 1975, however if the player was drafted in 1975 but didn't play their first game until 1976 they ARE NOT eligible.

I will try and help ya again then Bro. This is the year 2015. The NBA draft is in June 2015. The regular season starts in 2015, so it is the 2015-2016 season. The season does carry over, but the players begin their season the same calender year they are drafted. Hope that covers it

Well this is basketball not baseball so that didnt help answering my question.

I say 60-61 season the player had to have debuted in his first game. So doesn't matter when drafted but his debut year was 60-61. Does that work for everyone?

Yes only rookies. Their debut year.
