Pass. I am sure that he won't play for the league minimum so that is a factor. Funny how the poster here who is sure they will unload Norman next offseason has no issue w/ picking up more hits to the cap.

Jeez - does someone here have to always suggest that the Skins pickup every freaking player the second he becomes available. If a decent, younger RB or WR become available - why not? Otherwise - you pretty much need to go with your current team - this isn't fantasy football.

Pretty good chance that Bowman goes across town to the Raiders who desperately need help in this area. Granted this guy is a bit intriguing since he is from DC, but - as Skinsdad said - he really doesn't offer much of an upgrade for the Skins - not necessarily because all of their LBs are that great (although not bad) but because Bowman just isn't that great at the current time.

Kinda, yeah. Shit, its one of the bennies and a reason to belong to a sports forum. I mean you can get all info you want w/o belonging to this forum, but discussion, debate, arguing, co-signing, is the stuff that comes with belonging to this forum and that's cool.

Hey!!! This guy is a family friend. He is 17th in tackles. I think he is likely to get paid unless he doesn't get an offer from anyone. I do think he will get an offer and if he goes to a team playing a 3-4 I think he will be pretty productive. He is 29 now so two or three years is the most I think anyone is going to get out of him if he stays healthy. That is the unknown.

I always hoped he would come here later in his career but not sure that it would make sense for a big contract. I remember when he led my old HS to the state championship and then played at Penn State.

Who's lamenting that? We're in the mix right now. And its time to start runnin down Philly. They're already 4-0 in conference play and 2-0 in NFC East play. Our next 8 games are against NFC teams with 4 coming against NFC East teams. As much as I would've dug beating KC. It was a good game to lose, if you have to lose, from a making the playoffs perspective. These next 8 games are far more important to that.

Yeah, no lamenting, gnashing of the teeth or covering one's self in sack cloth to mourn over here. And I'm not mad at what you posted. I was just thinking outloud is all.
