Looking at the points, if CBJ loses in regulation they're done, but Dallas will still have a shot, and they hold the ROW advantage over the Wings if we were to tie in points.

Or my math is off, which is entirely possible...

Okay, here we go.

A regulation or OT/SO loss by Dallas, and they are done.

Detroit win, Columbus loss in regulation eliminates Columbus.

Detroit win, Columbus OT loss, makes the Jackets unable to catch Detroit. Would need Minny loss tomorrow to have shot at getting in. And Saturday.

Both Jackets and Detroit win, and Minny loss tomorrow puts DET in and the Jackets needing only 1 point on Saturday.

Columbus win, Detroit loss does not eliminate DET, but they HAVE to beat Dallas Saturday.

Dallas has to win out and DET and CBJ have to lose both in regulation for Dallas to get in.

I think WW needs a lozenge (haha) - Yes, Columbus and Detroit could both get in and the Wild could miss, but I still would like to see the Preds leapfrog over the Flames.

Also, did you see who Minnesota has remaining on their schedule (Edmonton at home and Colorado on the road). If they can't muster two points out of those two games, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

I'd say that's the easiest 4 points any team will ever have a chance to get to end this season.
