I didn't realize until I read an article about it that it was part of the same series. They did a bad job of promoting that. I'll have to binge watch season 1 sometime soon.

If you haven't binged yet, it is so worth it. Only bad part is you have to 100% watch because it almost all subtitles. I kept rewinding it to catch chit I missed.

12/5: Narcos (Netflix) renewed for a 5th season overall (which will be the 2nd season of "Narcos: Mexico").

Not a fan of Mexico Narcos.

Stopped watching...3? episodes in.

The (what should be) final season of Narcos:Mexico was dogshit. I finally just gave up and FF's through the last 3 episodes last night to see if anything interesting happened. It didn't. What a disappointment and a waste of time.

It was basically a spanish language soap opera. The acting, the dialog, the plot, the uninteresting characters that they spent waaaay too much time with... it's hard to believe it was created by the same folks who created the first 4 seasons.

I strongly recommend anyone who watches this to stop after season 1 of Narcso:Mexico. You won't be missing anything.
