Trying to pick your favorite cheese would be like trying to pick your favorite beer. There's so many good ones. You have to think about what you're having with the cheese and make the appropriate choice.

But if we're talking just some cheese with some bread I'd have to have a high quality provolone. And a glass of dry red wine with it and shit.

That's for sure, too tough to pick one favorite for me.

I know a guy who melts bleu cheese over his steaks.

I don't put anything on my steak so I've never tried it, but he swears by it.

I don't put anything on my steak so I've never tried it, but he swears by it.

I have done that but only on things like filets that don't have much fat. It is pretty good. After grilling it crumble on top, put under the broiler for like 2 minutes and then add some fried onions.

As far as seasoning steak though, I rub in a little bit of salt and pepper, let it come to room temp and then just grill it like that, or cook it in cast iron like that. No other seasoning needed.

He does it on his fillets and ribeyes.

I almost cracked and tried it on our last fishing trip, but nixed the idea after I looked at my steak coming off the grill. I thought "No way am I fucking that up" :dhd:
