My Week 2 Predictions

Pretty happy this is the noon game so I can catch it before the Bucks play. I could see this one being a dogfight.

Gotta be honest, I was surprised to see UVA beat BYU this weekend. I'm sure they won't stand a chance against tDucks, but it was a decent showing. They have one of my favorite frosh in the NCAA, Taquan "Smoke" Mizzell.

Oregon hardly ever plays ACC teams so it will be interesting. UVA isn't a power by any means but traveling 3000 miles is a bit of a factor.

It will give CFB fans a better idea of who Oregon is.

I take absolutely nothing from the week 1 game obviously.

I mean... Nicholls University??? 772 yards and 66 points really means nothing.

Not really that ridiculous. Ohio State could blow them out and probably will.

But it also isn't inconceivable that the game is closer than you think it will be.

Buffalo was a hands to the face penalty away from a 30-27 game in the 2nd half.

tOSU didn't look like world beaters.

Not so sure Buffalo is heads and tails better than SDSU. Even though SDSU looked like dog shit in week 1.

For the Bucks sake they had better beat the Aztecs by moar than E. Illinois did.

But they have 3 guys guys coming back in secondary, including 2 best Roby and Barnett. Their veteran center will be back and Rod Smith is coming back for more depth at RB. That is just what I heard, could be more coming back.

I looked at Nicholls State.... wow. That is some bad football. If I read correctly they have 2 wins in the last 2 seasons, both over NAIA Evangel, whomever that poor team is. I do agree with you about the week 1 stuff. We only learned a thing or 2 about the teams that played against real quality teams (UNC/SCar, UGA/Clemson, TCU/LSU, etc) and those who lost to real bad teams (K-State, Oregon State, S. Florida, etc). So glad it's already Wednesday. I love me some short weeks.

Maybe. Sam Houston has a strong running offense and A&M did a lot better against the pass. Also, Sam Houston did good against the run defensively.

I know A&M is far better than Houston Baptist, but SHS ran the ball 56 times and passed 13 times and HB ran 40 times and passed 26. Even though A&M had did better passing, they ran the ball 12 times more. They also didn't do near as good against the run. I see a huge upset alert.
