My Top 5 after tonight

it was a matchup of two to pteams in the country. #3 vs #4. We lost in a close game and we played pretty poorly yet could have won that game at anytime. We beat ourselves with turnovers and dumb penalties. LSU capaitlized. but if you saw the game it is clear Oregon gave LSU that game. We are fine for the rest of the year and will probably win out. We lost a close game between two top 5 teams so I dont see why we would drop far.

Boise beat a ranked team impressively. Bama beat a crappy team and looked bad doing it. 4 INTs thrown. Best play only has 37 yards. I'm hard pressed to leave them at 4.

So offense is the only measure of the team?



Beating a team by 41 is considered "looking bad"?

I'm a Badger fan, and I love my team, but we aren't top 5 just yet. Our run defense was pretty poor, which is not good considering we are a running team. Our offense can and will score against anyone, but our defense needs to be better or we'll lose once we start playing better teams.

Oregon will go undefeated in the PAC 12. That conference isn't any good. USC is at best a 9 win team. Stanford will give them a game but I don't think they have the speed.

Alabama should be at around 9-15, new QB, undefined OL spots and all. We will be where we need to be at the end of the year and get the shot if we win what we are supposed too.

Virginia Tech should be around where they are. App State is significantly better than a good deal of FBS teams and the Hokies rolled them. They could have won 100-0 in that game and were up 52-0 just after halftime. The D looks good and Wilson and the receivers are known quantities but we need rinses them against better competition. ECU will provide a good offense fondest our D but the Hokies may remain a real mystery until real late in the season.
