Although I've been playing FBB for a long time, I've never been in a dynasty league. Mainly because I didn't want to just go in any one, nor could I gauge the interest in my main money league. However, that is behind me now, since I've just partaken in my first (thanks Phila!).

16 team H2H points league (skewed points but all in ratio, so not much different than standard), 40 man rosters (15 minors, 5 major league bench).

I have to warn you, I drafted (hopefully) the hybrid of future and now. I was going to reference my TKO in my team name, but have since changed it in reference to my 1st rounder...

C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI, 4 OF, UTIL
4 SP, 2 RP, 2 P
Minor leaguers in bold

The Puig Bang Theory

1/13 - Yasiel Puig OF
2/20 - Eric Hosmer 1B
3/45 - Anthony Rizzo CI
4/52 - Jean Segura SS
5/77 - Julio Teheran SP
6/84 - Kenley Jansen RP (probably regret this, but it's almost a man crush)
7/109 - Christian Yelich OF (wanted Billy Hamilton here, missed him by three picks!)
8/116 - George Springer OF
9/141 - Brad Miller MI
10/148 - Brian McCann C (first "old" guy, but love this pick, IMO the #1 catcher this year)
11/173 - Will Middlebrooks 3B (not thrilled, but potential ceiling is still there...)
12/180 - Avisail Garcia OF
13/205 - Danny Farquhar RP (a few days before Rodney was signed...stupid Mariners!)
14/212 - Dan Straily SP
15/237 - A.J. Pollock OF (sleeper of the year)
16/244 - A.J. Cole SP (back to back A.J.'s!)
17/269 - Martin Perez SP
18/276 - Gary Sanchez C

23/365 - Joey Gallo 3B

31/493 - Devon Travis 2B
32/500 - Brian Roberts 2B/Bench

34/532 - Jenrry Mejia SP (P)
35/557 - Ryan Ludwick OF/Bench

37/589 - Jason Hursh SP
38/596 - Mark Sappington SP
39/621 -
40/628 -

...just about done here, but decided to put my team out there in our little "rut" of a delay. Getting antsy I guess. As you can see, my minor leaguers are nothing to get excited over, but hopefully my young corps group of guys can allow me to compete now and for a while.

Final thoughts, I need another ace and a solid #2 OF to get something done this year, but I'm pretty happy with my first dance in a dynasty. Here's an easier look at the Puig Bang Theory.

C - Brian McCann
1B - Eric Hosmer
2B - Brian Roberts/Josh Rutledge/Emilio Bonifacio
3B - Will Middlebrooks
SS - Jean Segura
CI - Anthony Rizzo
MI - Brad Miller
OF - Yasiel Puig
OF - Christian Yelich
OF - Avisail Garcia
OF - A.J. Pollock
UT - Trevor Plouffe/Ryan Ludwick

SP - Julio Teheran
SP - Dan Straily
SP - Martin Perez
SP - Zach McAllister
RP - Kenley Jansen
RP - Brian Wilson
P - Danny Farquhar
P - Nate Eovaldi/Tyler Skaggs/Jenrry Mejia

There she is in all her glory... attack!

Good draft! I love the Yelich, Springer and Skaggs picks. I also agree with you about the "Puig Bang Theory".

I really like your bats. You really had a heck of a draft!
Bound to have holes with 16 teams... I think once trading opens you'll find that arm easily enough.
I'll post mine as well when I can sit in front of pc.
We're in day 15 and I just want this draft to end!!! Ha

I definitely like your young MLB core, and I am shocked you were able to get Springer so late given where other prospects were going.

If it were me, I would be trying to accumulate some young, talented arms without giving up your young hitters.

As much as I like Kenley and McCann, they look like your best trade chips.

could be weak at 3b, rest looks great...might want to grab McMahon or Moran...if you really want to take a flier on someone on the last pick...try Amador, he could be the same as Rizzo.

thats assuming Alex Guerrero is gone, lol

Last two picks were David Holmberg, SP CIN; and Tom Windle, SP LAD.

...yeah, I'm concerned with Middlebrooks, but a hot start can sweep that away and give him (and me) some breathing room. Otherwise, I'll be hoping Sano takes a full year in the minors or Plouffe hits his way into the OF when the young phenom arrives.
