2nd - Juwan James OT, Tennessee (trade picks with SF, get a 3rd from them)

3rd - Gabe Jackson OG, Mississippi St.

3rd - Jordan Mathews WR, Vandy (from SF, falling prospect.. Why I don't know)

3rd - Shayne Skov ILB, Stanford (Cleveland writer backtracking and claiming a Cousins trade is still not off the table)

4th - Ed Reynolds FS, Stanford

5th - Antone Exum CB/S, VT (great talent who dropped a lot due to injury concerns and not playing his senior year)

6th - Seantrel Henderson OT/OG, Miami (incredibly athletic 1st round talent falls due to motivation problems)

7th - Colt Lyerla TE, Oregon (another first round prospect who drops due to major red flags)

I think the first 5 picks are fairly safe. The last 3 low risk high reward possilities.

I doubt that happens Vt with the trades. Cousins will have already been traded by now if Cle was interested. It still baffles my mind that Cle, Hou, or JAx wont give up there 3rd round pick for Cousins.

Because they can some just like Cousins with a third or wait a year and sign Mallet or they plan on going QB early.

dean , playing devils advocate here what has KC really done ? he is 1-3 .
he is a 56% career passer with 8 tds and 11 ints

it isnt out of the realm of possibility that they may want to take there chances on some one new

b/c he already ran an NFL offense that holds a lot of weight. As we all know the draft is a crap shoot. Wouldn't you rather have the experience??

If they are offered an early 3rd rounder for Cousins, they should jump all over it. I would love to see Kirk get a shot at starting somewhere, and it aint going to happen in DC. You could make the argument that what happens if Griffin gets injured, but truth is with or without Cousins we would likely be screwt in that situation. Deal Cousins, keep McCoy as the backup and use the high third rounder to improve depth at one of our needed positions. As far as what they could or should use that pick on... well thats another debate.

You are probably right Dean, but I wouldn't discount a Cleveland trade just yet. They are rumored to possibly take a pass on a QB with their first pick and that would be a gamble in not getting anyone worthy of a 1st rounder. They are bringing in a lot of QBs for workouts, late and early rounds, Carr, Manziel, Bortles, Garrofolo, A. Murray, and oh yeah.... Vince Young. It's a long shot, but not dead yet IMO. They are desperate for a player at that position. DESPERATE..

And yeah, getting a trade down is certainly not a lock, but I think it would be great if we could somehow end up with 3-4 picks somewhere in the 40-80 range.

As far as playing in the NFL none but talent wise cousins was a 4th rounder. So there are guys just as talented as Cousins. And again Jax or Cleveland could be planning to go QB in the first round which means they would have no use for Cousins

I mean qb's in this draft who will be selected in the 3rd round. McCarron and Meenburger should be there in the 3rd round. you rather have those guys than Cousins?

1. Why do dream scenario mock drafts get shot down lol.

2. I think Cousins won't be dealt until draft night.

Hey... We can dream right?? After all of the shitty draft luck (partly because of Danny and Vinny) we have had the last 10-15 years... We are due right??

And I agree Skin 'em. IF (big if) Cousins is moved I don't think it will happen until that weekend. Some teams may be taking a wait and see approach. This class of QBS isn't Beaming with excitement. I doesn't sound like the teams or "experts" think there is a can't miss prospect at that position. But teams will reach for one... They always do.
