Huskerfolk, Monday I'll be writing my preview column on the bowl game. Toss me some input so I can reflect fan perspective rather than just media (myself included).
What is your biggest fear going in? What are you most confident about? Or in other words, what do you feel are your strengths and weaknesses in this matchup?
Any key people out? Result?
Why will USC win?
Why will Nebraska win?

Fear: speed rush from your DEs

Confident: Defense will play well, Bo's had a lot of time to gameplan, and input from other coaches. Give Bo a month, and it's hard to get anything to work..

Our center almost fucked up and got a DUI, but it was reduced, and he'll play. No key people out that i'm aware of.. but we would have been fucked anally without him.

USC wins if they contain our offense, and limit big plays


Huskers win if they move the ball consistently

Have you guys had trouble moving the ball in your losses? Has that been the issue in past games?

we've struggled a bit on defense this year too, but I just don't think it's going to be an issue for this game

So have DE's been able to pressure you? What specifically would you say has been the offense's problem in losses? Sacks, turnovers, bad run, bad pass?

We seem to abandon gameplans early when we're losing.. I just said your DE's, cause i think they are very good, and our line is stronger in the middle

Our losses at Wisco and Michigan gave us a really sad showing by our O.. no consistency, lack of ball security, and poor decision-making all around

Honestly to me this game comes down to whther or not USCe defense is for real or not. The Cocks are highly rated on the defensive side of the ball but their 4 games against top 50 offenses have been UGLY for them giving up almost 40 ppg in those games. The Huskers dont have a great offense but it is definitely a top 50 offense. Im not sold on the Gamecocks defense at all. I have Nebraska winning by 10+. Even with the Huskers schizophrenic defense I cant see the Cocks putting up more than 21-24 points. Im going 34-21 Nebraska.

Three keys to Nebraska winning:

1) Win the turnover battle

2) Establish a run game. Keep the speedy DE's honest so Taylor has time to throw

3) Win the battle on the lines.
