I think Michigan St might be a little too high...but after looking at the teams after, I really can't see a program to move up above MSU. Maybe flip MSU and Indiana? But that's a stretch...

agree with the OP, except I'd flip Illinois to #11 and flop Purdue to #12...a close call, though...like, it matters?

Simply because of the Indiana offense...73 pts in one game! How many games will it take for MSU to score 73 pts?

PSU has an argument for the #5 spot but with that NU offense and MSU's strong defense those rankings seem reasonable after one week of play.
