how about a band that has always been "kind of" popular. Sometimes, I wish I could go back to 2007. That summer was a great year to catch some up and comers from my generation live, and some of the bands from my generation who had been good for a long time who had just put out new albums.

Next. Tell me Brent Smith and Shinedown are not badass. I hate that the bands of my generation don't really get the "history." They still got plenty of fans and plenty of $, but you won't hear about Shinedown in 50 years, but you'll still hear about Skynyrd. Listen to Shinedown's impromptu version of 45, it should be to the right. Same setting, in this guy's house. 45 is their song(you probably know that, but just in case), just as powerful as simple man.
