Not a fan of the quick hook on Felix there.

Felix is better than any bullpen option we have whether it's lefty or righty. Plus with Felix out there you know he has his good stuff. You bring in a bullpen guy and it's often hit or miss.

Same shit different year. I'm not going to bother even looking at the box score until this team is 10 games over .500, which probably means that I'm never looking at a box score for the rest of my life. Adios M's! No point rooting for a broken down car!

You couldn't have asked for an easier ground ball to end the game. It's a play you make in the little leagues 99/100 times

I bet Felix leads the MLB in quality starts without a win

Just make the play at 1B where you had him by 10 feet. New methods aren't always better. Going to 2B for force out for final out is a newer thing in baseball and it isn't as easy as it looks. You tend to guide the ball instead of throw the ball and when you do that you look like Miller on that play. Whatever, it is the M's are we are going to end up closer to the bottom than the top like always.

I thought Brad had a better chance at getting the out at first too.

Rodney actually forced two slow ground balls in the same vicinity to Brad. The first one Brad was way out of position and the second one he bobbled and choked the game away.

I may get crap for this but I would rather us win this one for Felix and lose the next two then lose this one and win the next two. These Felix losses are so much more crushing for the fan morale

He bobbled the ball originally and then panicked. Either way even when he makes plays his footwork seems extremely awkward. I dont really see him as a shortstop long term honestly.

Felix will never ever admit it but he is pissed the fuck off, if we werent paying him so much money and not treating him like a god he would have left this team yesterday.

He was pissed of when he was pulled today and I was too. He retired 10 in a row and gave up 1 hit and was pulled just because he was almost at 100 pitches. The bullpen almost blew his last start too. If you cant trust Felix even when he is over 100 pitches what can you trust on this team.
