So tired of hearing these announcer say that Cano hitting line drives at the outfielders is bad luck. It is not, it is bad hitting. Hit them where they ain't!

Even though the M's offense in June has been pretty good overall, I sure feel like the middle of the order big money guys aren't pulling their weight. At times Cano, Cruz and Seager have done stuff, but I am pretty disappointed with their production overall.

Don't know about the results today, but after yesterdays 3rd loss in a row the M's were still just 2 games out of the wild card. The playoffs are there, the AL is incredibly mediocre this year. A run puts this team in that wild card spot. They just won't do it. Being swept by the worst team in baseball just sucks and takes all the wind out of the sails. Chalk up yet another loss in the "should have won" category. God it's hard being a fan of this team.

Well, at least everyone else covered the "I can't believe this shit" posts after that sad loss.

Guess I don't really have anything to add.

There was an MMA fight this weekend where a woman crapped her pants in the ring during a match. She had a better week than the Mariners.

An off day and a series against the Phillies is the important part. Those are games this team should win. Watch to see that this series doesn't affect the next. If it does, that's a problem, but I don't see that happening.

This goes back to that horrible start to the season they had. They keep having to play perfect baseball to catch up then run out of steam for a while. Without such a crappy start this might be a decent team.

That's the reality of it for sure. All teams have clunkers against teams they should beat. Problem is the Mariners have about reached their yearly allotment of clunkers because of the hole they dug themselves.

Mariners....

Least our name makes sense. Navigating a ship, that just happens to be sinking.

What a fucking joke. Whenever you expect anything from this team, they give you nothing. It's so predictable.
Was it just six days ago that they beat the Astros 13-3? Seems like a lot longer. Team fell off of a cliff after that win.

I'm telling you they are going to come back!

Oh i know they will. That's how it works in Mariner land. Even last year. You start thinking positive and they go in the tank. You start thinking negative and they play well. Just a vicious mediocre cycle.

Seager has been disappointing but what do I know...

Seager has been disappointing but what do I know...

He has the lowest WRC+ plus of any of our regulars outside of Dyson. Even Zunino and Valencia have been more productive. It's time for Servais to move him down. Even Lloyd would do it when he was struggling. If I see him pop up another middle middle pitch and hear Simms say "he just missed it," I may lose my mind.
