Too early for Gilbert to come up now?

Yeah they specifically are limiting him so he wouldnt be ready until later in the year. Barely threw in spring training and I think has only thrown a handful of innings in the minor league games. My guess is June 1 is the absolute earliest he would be ready for the bigs. So while there is an excuse with Gilbert, there really isnt with Kelenic

Exactly... Gilbert wasn't able to throw much last year so we don't want to put him in for a long season... June would be the earliest to bring him back... Then he can ride the 6 spot in the rotation through the EOY...
