Mariners non-tendered catcher Luis Torrens.​

Torrens offers a solid bat against lefties, but he's weak against righties and probably a little below average defensively. It'll likely be tough for him to land a backup gig in free agency.

Mariners non-tendered catcher Brian O'Keefe.​

The 29-year-old O'Keefe made his major league debut at the very end of last season, going 1-for-3. The team could re-sign him to play at Triple-A Tacoma next year.

Mariners non-tendered RHP Luke Weaver.​

The Mariners liked Weaver enough to claim him last month, which suggests they'll try to keep him. They're just not going to match or exceed the $2.875 million he made last year. Weaver had a 6.56 ERA in 35 2/3 innings for Arizona and Kansas City in 2022.

I always feel bad for the players who get non-tendered like Torrens. Totally agree it's unfortunate for the M's that no team would even nibble for him, of course.
