The A's are just a really good team. They're patient and will make you pay for mistakes. They also pitch their asses off year after year with nobodies.

A's do it the right way. M's still not as good as they are playing, but are fun to watch....for now. Almonte is still a wild man in the field and on the bases. Still not sure why Morrison is playing, but can't say who should be from this roster. Give Romero the chance for now and see what he has because we all know what Morrison has...not much.

I would still try and pry Stanton away from Marlins. Seager, Zunino, and Ramirez for him. I think Sucre and Dowd could be the future catching combo for M's if we dealt Zunino for an All-Star and Franklin could be the future 3B and he could compete with Peterson next year for it. Not going to happen, but it would be a great get.

perhaps if sucre, dowd, or peterson were further along and we knew what was real i'd be in agreement with you more.

Sucre and Dowd are who they are, two good defensive catchers with basic offense. That doesn't worry me or bother me. Peterson is a question mark like any other prospect, but the talent of Stanton overshadows any risk of any of the players dealt or players who would replace. The more studs you have the less you have to depend on the prospect masses.

Them wanting more is always the question and may be the deciding factor if it is even a consideration at all.

Anyhoo, I like Peterson a lot. Got to watch him play a couple of games last year before he got hurt.

He's a big, big guy, though. Tree trunks for arms and legs. I'm wondering if he'll be able to keep up good D at 3B. We'll see.
