Glad those idiots in the FO didn't deal Ackley. I'm sold on him now. I don't think he'll ever be all star material but if he just plays within himself he's a guy who can go .270 with 20 HR's. And he's done a wonderful job of picking up LF. He went from awful to average in a very short time span.

Every year Felix pitches like crud towards the end of the year. Although I wonder if the Mariners being in the playoff picture helps to motivate him? I am always nervous about him going into the end of the season.

That is a valid point about being motivated this time. When you are 20 games out, what is there to play for?

He's pitching more change ups than ever this year, and it's filthy.

Easier on the arm, so maybe he'll break the habit of tiring out late in the season the past few season. Having a seemingly decent offense behind him should energize him.

Well I wish Cano would have done more than another trickler to the pitcher there, and yeah, Morales shouldn't have been going to 3rd. Still though, a great 1st inning so far as we go for the sweep!
