I do like his pass blocking. Lord knows we need another good one. He has good feet and good recovery, when he seems beaten. Will that work in the NFL? Not sure. Still, it's impressive. He's performed good against some good pass-rushers in his division, such as Vic Beasley and Jerry Attochou. He has a tendency to block too high, though. He also needs to be more assertive. With that being said, his run blocking needs work. He over-pursues and lunges forward, which causes him to whiff and miss his intended defender to block. This concerns me. In addition, this is the main reason why I believe he dropped in the draft. I guess I am so used to Trent Williams, who does both extremely well. Of course, OTs like Trent don't come dime-a-dozen. I think with the right coaching, he should become a more complete OT. For us to get him in the 3rd round, I believe we got a steal.

IM real good with the pick where we got him. I know many will bitch about this draft so far. But going forward I still hope we get a Wr with some size possibly Bryant or Coleman. Would also like to see us grab a DB ( maybe the Safety with the orangutan arms). From there,, ithink we would be good and Im willing to give Bruce the benefit of the doubt simply because he did not panic and over draft Moses.

I agree with you. A tall WR, DB and I would like a DL to get picked as well. It would be an ok draft for sure.
