Too bad. Anybody have the entire story or just that he's been charged?

In today's society, it's pretty easy to be charged with domestic violence or abuse. You don't have to hit anyone, just behave in a "threatening" manner. I'm not saying he didn't do anything, but was it a girlfriend who he didn't buy something for or did he tell her it was time to find a place of her own?

I haven't seen anything in the paper or heard anything on the box, so I just have to wonder what happened and what exactly did he do?

Haven't heard anything in regards to this as well. Kept on looking trying to find something, could not.

Well from what I have read his girl friend told the police that they were having an argument and he put his hands on her then picked her up and threw her. Doesn't sound like he actually hurt her but like BigKen said doesn't take much to get a Domestic Abuse charge these days.

I've seen less than the above and a DV charge was filed.

Brings a whole new meaning to "women scorned" (Not saying DV is good or I am ok with it at all)

Oh I understand. In the article I read it sounded like he was more being arrested until they could sort out what actually happened. They did somewhat charge him but I could see in a month where all charges are dropped and the whole thing comes out as this huge misunderstanding that got blown way out proportion. We have definitely seen a lot worse in this league with the Hardy's and Rice's of the world.

While he was at Wisconsin, he got in fights on 2 separate occasions (got beat up pretty bad in one of them), and got arrested at Mifflin (our annual block party) because he wouldn't leave somebody's porch. Then, when we were at the final four, I remember they showed JJ Watt & Russell Wilson sitting together, and no more than 5 minutes later we saw Ball getting kicked out of the student section, drunk and acting like a jackass.

What I'm saying is, he's always come across as a shithead, and this whole situation doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Probably the final chapter in Ball's career, and if it is, good riddance.

In most states even if they person who was "abused/hit" doesn't press charges the police hands are forced and they have to arrest someone. Not sure about Mass though.

Here in TN the cops will tell you. They respond to a DV call, some one is arrested. Bottom line.
Someone is leaving in cuffs.

I've been married for 42 years to my wife. We've had a very few really serious arguments and we've never raised a hand to each other. Not that either of us probably wouldn't have liked to, but........................it appears to me, and I could be 99% wrong, that most of these domestic abuse things generally involve a girlfriend, not a wife.

IMHO, the gals generally start the argument and unless cooler heads prevail, it will get out of control. Most often, it's because of too much time spent away from her with friends and that usually means other gals are around.

The guys generally leaves in cuffs.
