I think Billy Bowman is rd3 and Dem Knight is rd2. Bucs are in a tough spot relative to their needs. I did a mock draft with them on this board and took Jahdae Barron. Hairston also has a ton of buzz. Their fanbase seems to want Ezeiruaku when I was doing research.

Chiefs? I think there is about an 80% chance its an Ohio State player. Josh Simmons, certainly Don Jackson, Tyleik Williams and even Treyvon Henderson all make sense. I personally dont want Henderson that early but I certainly think he is on their radar.
There's always a reach or two that leaves guys like Kiper shaking their heard taking about their 3rd round grades on this guy or that guy.
I was basically just going off BPA at positive of need.. in reality, those spos are likely to be trades for Shaduer/Dart or whatever

I think there will be at least 2 or 3 in this draft. Look at how different Kyle Williams is seen. Chris Simms is talking like he would take him in the 30s. Kinda made fun of the Niners for taking Pearsall rd1 last year but Pearsall is a good example of a guy who I thought was firmly rd2 going about 20 spots earlier than I figured he would. Tyler Guyton was the same. Darius Robinson the same (I'm usually pretty honest about how I see Mizzou players). Xavier Worthy I thought was in the 30s but maybe not a 'trade up' guy for any team but the Chiefs.

Once Ward, Hunter, Carter go, is there anyone else teams are trying to actually trade up for? Or is it more likely any teams that say they're interested in trading up are either making a play for those or hoping one of them falls to 4 or 5.
Probably not. If Sanders gets passed the Jets and Saints, then why would you want him? If Tet McMillan gets passed the Pats, Jags, Raiders, and Saints then why would you want him?

Atlanta, Cinci and Tampa Bay could spend their entire draft on defense. I think they would trade up for a pass rusher maybe but all of the rumors have Carolina, New Orleans and likely the Bears taking a pass rusher.

[McShay] said, “I have a guy I really trust in the Raiders organization and he says no Jeanty”…you never know. He could be telling him that to throw off others

Agree. Some of this has to be intentional? Hints get thrown around. Cautiously guarded news gets leaked. Could be deliberate posturing to make other GM's worry.

And he has the Chiefs picking an Edge who is in the 6th percentile in size when Spags loves big Edge players. I'm skeptical but I guess we'll find out.

He also has the giants trading back into the first round to get a QB... i really hope that does not happen....

I think when McShay is saying that the Jags really need a weapon and TLaw really likes tall receivers then the elephant in the room is that the Jags should also be in play for both TEs. Colston Loveland is like 6'6. I get that TE positional value isnt great but RB still isnt, either.

And i seriously question the acumen of these mocks that have the Bears taking TE Warren at 10.

Ben Johnson had LaPorta yet the Lions TE only had a 9% share of targets in that offense, which is below the NFL average.

Bears fans would be stunned if they drafted Warren.

Isn't it all about surrounding Caleb with weapons? I get the train of thought in that regard.

Lots has happened in the couple weeks since this thread started and my mock 2.0 will likely be as wrong, if not more so, than 1.0.
And obviously there will be a bare minimum of one trade, likely multiple trades, and this accounts for zero- so of course it'll be effed- but it's all for S's and G's right?

2.0
1. Titans - Cam Ward
2. Browns - Abdul Carter
3. Giants - Travis Hunter
4. Pats - Will Campbell
5. Jags - Ashton Jeanty
6. Raiders - Armand Membou
7. Jets - Mason Graham
8. Panthers - Jalon Walker
9. Saints - Will Johnson
10. Bears - Kelvin Banks
11. Niners - James Pierce
12. Cowboys - O. Hampton
13. Dolphins - W. Nolan
14. Colts - Tyler Warren
15. Falcons -Myk. Williams
16. Cardinals - Mike Green
17. Bengals - Shemar Stewart
18. Seahawks - Donovan Jackson
19. Bucs - Dem. Knight
20. Broncos -Colston Loveland
21. Steelers - Shadeur Sanders
22. Chargers - Tet. McMillian
23. Packers - Jahdae Barron
24. Vikings - Tyler Booker
25. Texans - M Golden
26. Rams - E. Egbuka
27. Ravens - N. Emmanawori
28. Lions - Donovan Ezeiruaku
29. Commanders - Maxwell Hairston
30. Bills - Troy Amos
31. Chiefs - Billy Bowman
32. Eagles -Malaki Starks

If we're predicting trades, I predict Da Bears trade up with the Jags and take Jeanty- which is a dumb move IMHO
And the Broncos move up and take either Hampton or Loveland/Warren- likely with the Niners or the Cowboys.
I need to make another mock now bc you really find out a lot on draft day.

If they trade 2…you won’t be hearing from me. That would be devastating

A trade up for a TE is strange but the Colts have been projected to take TE for months…it makes sense, so they probably take a QB

They paid Kmet. Then didnt use him until they needed him to fill in as the long-snapper.
Kmet is good enough.

Caleb needs time in the pocket. He needs a LT.
