I wouldn't be surprised if Hampton went top 12
entirely possible. more than few feel he and Jeanty are near interchangeable. IF your heart is set on taking a RB and you're one of those people, Jeanty gone at 11 or higher, Hampton going next wouldn't shock me in the slightest.

I'm not s fan of the Niners do this is speculation, but i wouldn't be surprised if they went Sanders or Dart at 11 provided they are there. I would. Brock for $55M or one of those two on a rookie deal?
Stranger things have happened, but in all honesty, if they've got Dart on their radar, trading back and taking him tail of round 1, start of round 2 would be a better plan. Cheaper rookie contract too

I don't think Conerly Jr happens for the Chiefs. I think they'd take Grant over him because in theory the Chiefs signed a LT in FA and I dont think Conerly Jr is a good G prospect. That said, I really like Conerly Jr as a prospect and I think he'll be gone before the Chiefs pick so I'd be happy with it.
I think if a guy like Booker makes it to KC that is ideal. I've mocked him to the Ravens since day one. Makes too much sense but you never know if other targets drop

Id imagine the Chiefs would be fine with trading back if someone wants a QB.

That said, I really think they'd run to the podium to take Kenneth Grant.

I like Joe Klatt. I think he just tells it how it is and doesn’t try to show much favortism. He listed his top 50 players and I found some things interesting.

  • He ranked Henderson RB2, Judkins RB3 and Hampton RB4. His reasoning is workload. Judkins and Henderson split time and he thinks they are complete backs. Both can block, catch it, etc. He still loves Hampton but he feels the other two, their draft stock fell bc splitting time. I would take any of them honestly. Henderson taking a full workload scares me with his injury history.
  • He ranked Loveland over Warren. Loveland at the #4 player in the draft. Warren #5. He said Loveland is a ridiculous route runner and knows how to get open (aka Kelce). Warren is a swiss army knife and a freak athlete. I love both but if someone gets Loveland late 1st, huge steal.
  • His top 3: 1 Hunter 2 Carter 3 Graham. He says Graham can take over a game like Aaron Donald. He was a former wrestler, high IQ guy. 3 game-wrecking/game changing type of players and a clear top 3.

I haven’t checked out his history. He is a big college football guy. I just follow his youtube channel. I’m sure it’s a mixed bag like anyone.

Was reading some of Jeanty's personal tweets and quotes... he seems to have a lot to say. Some may say he's cocky.

Yeah that’s another added layer on scouting these prospects. I guess it matters less with RB’s. Not too many RB’s are getting 2nd contracts taking a guy top 10 you would hope that guy stays with the franchise a long time. You seem to see it more from skill positions

don't see too many cocky RB's..my best guess is that they get the cocky knocked out of them fairly quickly at this level. The few that stay 'cocky' are probably some of the best of the best, arguably ever..so it can be interpreted as supreme confidence

The very first post in News/Rumors! Your assessment holds true with these 2

Joique got his Bell rung and definitely got the cocky knocked right out of him.

McK resurgence with chiefs was wild, but he went from having big dog dreams to playing a role in a hurry, also knocked the cocky out of him before he popped for all those TDs too

Dane Brugler of the Athletic in his "The Beast" rankings of RBs. Got to say I see them very differently but always interesting to see how the analyst's see it.

Feel like I'm seeing more recently that align with this - Johnson over the OHSt guys, will be interesting to see where a lot of the guys land after Jeanty

My thoughts are that there is a definitive #1, a definitive #2, and then 4-5 that could easily be #3.
Personally, I feel there are multiple backs better than both Buckeyes. I didn't see 'special' on either of their films.. but I've been wrong before

Kaleb seems like a big wildcard. His rankings seem more inconsistent than any of the top RB’s. Most of am seeing is 3/4 Henderson/Judkins and 5 Johnson but honestly he was so damn good. Not the greatest combine like the other guys.

Skattebo not in the top 10? I guess he isn’t a fan

Henderson had injury issues. Remember they split time last year.

Judkins was ridiculous at Ole Piss two years ago. He is a bruiser. Great inside the tackles. Very quick side to side too.

Henderson is a combine warrior, pass catcher, great blocker and explosive but I am still not certain he is an every down back. He will get picked higher on the simple fact he is the homerun threat only Hampton and Jeanty can equal.

I would be happy with any of the top 5 backs but I think Henderson is more of the split time type of back. A 1-2 punch. That is why those two backs worked so well splitting time.

I think Johnson is the biggest risk but if he is good…he is going to be a pro-bowl type of back IMO

I think NE is an interesting spot in the draft. Do they “overdraft” bc they have a clear need to protect their franchise QB? A trade down makes sense but we Carter and Hunter likely gone, who is trading up for a DT or RB…

I do have one theory but it is a bit far-fetched. The Bears trade up to #4 and jump LV and JAX to grab Jeanty. That is really the only possibility I see otherwise NE drafts an OT or just says fuck it and drafts Graham even though OT is their biggest need
