So much talk about who, what and where, thought maybe we can throw up some mocks from website.

Fanspeak's On the Clock NFL Mock Draft Simulator

Just click the link and follow the screens. I was using CBS Sports ranks. Here is the one I did with an emphasize on DT.

I don't agree with most of these picks. Some will not be available but others I have other preferences. I'll try to make a list later......

RB is the hardest to predict I think? We may see a run on RBs early? Or they may go late. Regardless there are lots to choose from.

Assuming no trades I'd like to see NE go OT with their first or second pick.

I am starting to think CB is going to be a higher pick. Sort of what Big Ken did in his mock. Have to cover the fact that Ryan and Butler could be gone. I doubt both, but need to cover one of them. If they are looking to replace what Easley did, then that can be had in the 3rd.

Kiper's mock for us.

Round 2 (60): Chris Jones, DT, Mississippi State

Round 2 (61): Pharoh Cooper, WR, South Carolina

Round 3 (91): Devontae Booker, RB, Utah

Round 3 (96): Zack Sanchez, CB, Oklahoma

Analysis: The departure of Dominique Easley on the defensive line is mitigated with the addition of Jones, a disruptive interior presence. Cooper is a wide receiver who creates space with his explosiveness off the snap and could become a go-to target for Tom Brady early in his career. He could emerge as another valuable asset in the slot. Booker is a versatile running back, where a clear need exists, and has the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. Sanchez provides needed depth at cornerback who will see the field as a nickel corner early on.

McShay's mock

Round 2 (60): Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh

Round 2 (61): Cyrus Jones, CB, Alabama

Round 3 (91): Javon Hargrave, DT, South Carolina State

Round 3 (96): C.J. Prosise, RB, Notre Dame

Analysis: The Patriots have made a point to surround Tom Brady with more weapons this offseason (WR Chris Hogan, TE Martellus Bennett), but they still need an outside WR. Boyd has the size (6-1) and savvy route-running skills to develop into a solid No. 2 at the next level. Jones has experience working as the nickel CB and also adds value as a punt returner (4 TDs in college). The Patriots already have two smaller RBs (Dion Lewis and James White); at 6-foot and 220 pounds, Prosise would fill the big-back role.

Neither of the mock drafts above includes an offensive tackle among the four top picks. I think a developmental LT is a must, especially with frequent injury issues for Solder. Waddle looks like a good backup for Vollmer on the right side. Besides, BB will probably be doing some trading on draft days, so the pick positions should be fluid. I still hope a trade can be worked out to give the Pats a pick in the fourth or fifth round as well as some in 2017, where they have only 5 right now.

Texas_logo.gif Hassan Ridgeway*, DT, Texas
Height: 6-3. Weight: 303. Arm: 33.
40 Time: 5.02.
Projected Round (2016): 2-3.

4/16/16: Sources with some teams say that they think Ridgeway could be a nice value pick. They are giving him strong consideration for the second day of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Ridgeway had a fine combine performance in terms of the field work, but sources said that he interviewed poorly. Ridgeway can be overwhelming for the interior of an offensive line with his size and strength. He put together some excellent games in 2015 where he beat offensive tackles and guards to make plays in the backfield. The junior showed the ability to be a stout run defender and collapse the pocket in the pass rush. For the season, Ridgeway recorded 36 tackles with 6.5 for a loss and 3.5 sacks. He is a well-balanced defender who beat some double-teams during his career.

In 2014, Ridgeway stood out while playing next to Malcom Brown. Ridgeway totaled 48 tackles with 9.5 for a loss and six sacks that season.
